Are YOU Online?

True story: July 5, 2007, the updated Yellow Pages Books were delivered to our lobby (one for each office).

After a week, only we, Crossbow Studio, had taken ours — but only to place gently into the recycle bin. After three weeks, we recycled all the rest. Ten years ago, these books full of useful information would have been snatched up immediately. Today, however, the Internet has replaced our Yellow Pages, Dictionary, and Encyclopedia — as well as the way we make reservations, find mates, and order books. These are some of the most popular tactics that may help get your company recognized on the Internet:

Pay Per Click Advertising This type of Internet marketing produces quick results with high ROI. PPC is perfect for those who are looking for fast, predictable, and measurable results. The good thing about PPC is that a company can make decisions about how much money it wants to invest in it and how long to invest. The text changes can be made quickly and easily. The PPC process: to bid on key words that potential customers may type into a search engine that will lead them to a link to your website. From there, it's pretty self-explanatory. With PPC, the customer pays a set price per click. The goal is to come up with as many keywords as possible that a potential customer might type into a search engine so that they will see your web site's link and click on it. The more and more clicks your link receives, the farther up on the search engine's page will you go making your site even more visible to potential customers.

Online Sales Generation With this type of online marketing, the company pays a set price for every qualified lead generation found. A company usually hires an Online Sales lead Generation firm to find potential clients and bring them to you quickly while the lead is still “hot”. A perk of Online Sales Generation is that the Internet never closes. Clients can visit your site whenever they wish and do research on your company before speaking with you.

Email Marketing Email marketing can be a little tricky because emails can be reported as spam mail or fall into the junk mail folder and not reach your target audience. Compared to other types of Internet marketing, email has a lesser conversation rate. Email marketing can be helpful to enhance relationships with old clients, current clients, and new clients. Sending emails keeps your company on their mind. A way to get new customers is to ask complementary companies to include your advertisement in their emails. Then, if someone is interested in your company, they simply click the ad in the email which directs them to your website.

Website Banner Advertising A great way to advertise your website is to use a website banner. This is done by paying another website to display your banner on their site for a certain amount of time. The website you advertise through should compliment with yours to get the largest amount of traffic from your target market. When someone is interested in your advertisement, he or she can click on your banner which will then connect them to your website. Website banners are best for big companies with a large budget who want to increase brand awareness and gain exposure.

Text Link Exchanges and Paid Link Advertising/ Link Popularity Example: if someone is reading a paragraph on Link Management, there maybe a Hyperlink on the words “Online Marketing”. Clicking the text link will bring him or her to a website about Online Marketing. This is a non-interruptive approach to marketing—and enhances a potential customer’s web experience. Paid link advertising is also simple to use, loads quickly, and doesn’t look like an advertisement. People will be more inclined to click the link in an effort to gain more information. Internet marketing is a great way to advertise your company—and Crossbow Studio can educate you about the best options for your business based on your strategic objectives. So, if your company isn't doing everything it could be online, we can help.
