Their Aim is Your Target
Philadelphia (Manayunk) PA - Focused specifically on the Commercial Real Estate industry, Crossbow Studio has been hitting its target for two years now. Partners Terry Whitaker and Greg Koorhan have a unique and complementary background. She spent the first ten years of her career in classic brand management at Nestle Food Company and The Walt Disney Company. Her more recent marketing consulting and business development roles within the Commercial Real Estate industry helped form the basis for Crossbow Studio’s differentiated positioning as a marketing firm specializing in Commercial Real Estate and related Professional Services. Greg's 23 years in advertising, design and Internet production - as a Creative Director for ad agencies in Los Angeles and NY - provides the foundation for the necessary creative capabilities of the firm.
Positioning or Re-positioning Real Estate Development
"We found that developers had an opportunity to create true brands for their buildings and campuses that could tell their story more effectively and consistently; and that could build excitement with tenants and investors," Terry began. Her personality and openness comes through, even in a brief conversation. "And we knew this was exactly where we could help."
Crossbow Studio is nearing completion of a re-positioning project for The Neshaminy Interplex; a 12-building, one million square foot office campus with Korman Commercial Properties. "We wanted to make sure we looked at the property objectively," said Jerry Segal, Senior President of Korman Commercial. "We hired Crossbow Studio to help us evaluate, strategize and update the Interplex in order to retain its status as the jewel of Southern Bucks County."
"Crossbow helped us look carefully at the daily experience of our tenants. By doing so, we made small but meaningful changes, like adding Wi-Fi access, bringing food carts to the courtyards, and having our maintenance team wear branded uniforms."
Setting their "Sites" on Results
One of the other recent projects of which Crossbow Studio is extremely proud is the effort geared to the residents of Newtown Township regarding the proposed Town Center developed by BPG Properties Ltd. "We had worked on Ellis Preserve with BPG from its earliest stages," said Greg Koorhan, "so we had a thorough understanding of what BPG wanted to accomplish."
Greg explained further, "By creating a blitz of communication activity directed to the neighborhood, in multiple media, we were able to help explain the options for developing the site, and gain community buy-in and support for the proposed development."
In addition, Crossbow Studio just completed a web site for Casaccio Architects. Casaccio’s business had grown over the past 55 years without a web site, but they have been getting queries about their online presence. "When we met with the Crossbow team, we felt they really 'got us' and believed they'd be able to transfer our personality to the web," said Lee Casaccio. "We are delighted with the resulting web site and have had tremendously positive feedback."
Pointed in the Right Direction
Terry and Greg are involved in every deliverable. "We’ve made it our mission to grow by developing close relationships with our clients and fully understanding their relationships with their end-users,” Terry explained. Greg added, "Then we design to hit that target. And we are thrilled by the results our work is getting for our clients so far."
